about

Inspired by the Aro Valley house I used to live in, nicknamed the Purple Palace. Cool people lived there and visited there.

I actually took a sickie and wrote and recorded this one in one day after seeing Queens of the Stone Age live in Wellington. I'm a big Kyuss fan and this is kind of a tribute to them.

It's a fun song and I can imagine performing it in the Purple Palace with all the cool kids rocking to it.

Devonian Sun Wellington, New Zealand

Maybe someday, I'll find people who will help to realise this music in some sort of live format, but until then, this is how it exists.

It's an attempt to translate the sounds in my head.

I'm originally from Northern Ireland, but currently live in Wellington, New Zealand.
